Romantic Fiction Author Rusty Blackwood Releases Part Three Of  'An Evening With Rusty Blackwood', Announces May Events

In her new interview, Blackwood discusses ‘Passions In Paris’, her latest romance novel, written in the tradition of Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ and ‘What Dreams May Come’. Recent reviewers have compared it to Erich Segal’s ‘Love Story’

[St. Catharines, Ontario, May 13, 2014]  Canadian Indie author Rusty Blackwood has announced the release of Part Three of 'An Evening With Rusty Blackwood'. In the video interview she discusses her unique experiences in writing, producing and marketing 'Passions In Paris' and her experiences as an independent author.

Blackwood's romantic fiction novel is a sweeping saga written in the tradition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come'. It has been compared to Erich Segal's 'Love Story' and Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook'. The novel has also received extremely positive reviews from Reader's Favorite reviewers and has a 4-star rating on Amazon. The book was chosen as a finalist in Indie Author Land’s “50 Self Published Books Worth Reading”. Rusty was also a finalist in The Authors Show “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading” Awards.

"I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed the chance to sit down in a comfortable setting, and express my values in ways that I'm not always afforded when discussing my work," stated Rusty when commenting on her recent audio/video series, An Evening with Rusty Blackwood.  Miss Blackwood went on to add, "And I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. It's a nice feeling to be able to discuss, in depth, how I perceive what I do, as well as what I receive in return. Writing is a very important part of my life, and I hope to be allowed the chance to continue to do it. It's important to me to be able to connect with those who kindly read my work, and be allowed to share my thoughts and views not only in the world of writing, but in a personal way as well, so this series has been a wonderful experience for me, and I hope it has helped to broaden the public's scope with regard to me as an Indie author."

In the new novel the city of Paris, one of the most romantic places in the world, sets the scene for what some believe could be one of the best romance novels to come along in ages. The book is peppered with drama, intrigue, deception, adultery and jealousy. The fictional romance centers on star-crossed lovers Joy Wychmere and Cullen Malone. A diary, lost for almost half a century, opens a door to the past and one fateful evening changes two lives forever.

Reader Fred Pifer stated the new romance book, "is a fascinating book of a love story that seemed to be written with me in mind. In the book 'Love Story' by Erich Segal, he told of a deep abiding love story that reminds me of Cullen and Joy’s in Ms. Blackwood’s book, but the twists of intrigue and mystery that she adds keeps the reader on edge throughout." Linkk Kulakane said, "Passions in Paris I think stands it ground with these other powerful romantic stories like 'The Notebook' by Nicolas Sparks."

Ms. Blackwood has announced a number of upcoming book events. She will hold a booksigning on May 24, 2014 at Seaway Mall Coles in Welland, Ontario. Blackwood will be reading from 'Passions In Paris' at the Pelham Festival Book Fair at the Pelham Library, Fonthill, Ontario on June 21, 2014. The Pelham Festival Book Fair is sponsored by Grey Borders, Barefoot Books, The Book Band and Elbow Island Publishers.

Readers can download the epub version of the book at Smashwords. 'Passions In Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary' is also available at Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions, Barnes and Noble in paperback and Nook editions, and Create Space.
